Artemis Technologies, a global leader in high-performance maritime innovation, alongside Orkney Ferries and the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), are pleased to announce the arrival in Orkney of the fully electric hydrofoil vessel – the Artemis EF-12 Workboat XL, named ‘Zevi 1’.
Project partners meet for training onboard Zevi 1 at Artemis Technologies in Belfast and complete vessel acceptance of the Artemis EF-12 Workboat XL.
Orkney is set to benefit from a £15m funding award which will see two electric vessels running routes in the county over a three-year trial period.
