Welcome to Electric Orkney, a pioneering project accelerating maritime decarbonisation in the Orkney Islands.

The innovative electric vessels are designed to provide efficient, clean transportation solutions. By integrating cutting-edge hydrofoil technology and state-of-the-art charging infrastructure, these vessels aim to contribute to Orkney’s environmental goals and enhance island connectivity for residents and visitors alike.

Over the next three years, the vessels will be trialled and operated in real-world conditions and operational data will be gathered.
